When I purchase it I did it because the "special edition" feeling but my hard is really into the 1st generation tacos, I like the design plus they are well better build than this new type trucks.
Great truck and great generation, just not for me!

Well chit damn it this is the SW Edition?! I took the girlfriend down to do the Apache Trail last January in a rental car. Far cry from back when I regularly did the Baja peninsula, that was before they even paved the streets of TJ. Think Carlos Castaneda and the Yaqui, and Hunter S. Thompson. Erhh never mind those... And often headed to Anza Borrego desert back before the pie shop in Julian was even around yet. Can I still play?

Got my first scratch from barb wire. Very light but a big oops. I was throwing garbage away and missed this barb wire turned the right side of truck into it. A 1 inch extra lift would have surficed. I think waxing my truck made it slide off a bit cause the scratch is little but scary cause I missed it digging in by a hair

Looking for a Baja? ...Alameda Toyota has a black and white one. Definitely priced higher than when I bought mine.

Either not many people have them or they just don't like talking about their trucks.

I have actually searched around and see that there are lots of baja s in TW but you will have to search links like " because baja" to find links to baja thread.

I took mine off the road the other day. Not really "off-roading", but it was off the road and gave me an excuse to put it in 4 wheel drive (even though it really wasn't needed).

I had just finished a bike ride, so the bike is in the back.

When I'm home (Maine) for vacation in a couple months, I'll be building this for my dogs.
