You may want to consider looking in Phoenix or Denver. Upon moving here I noticed car prices seem a little high compared to other places I lived. Should be able to get internet quotes then catch a cheap direct flight into either airport, pick up the truck and have a 6 hour road trip back.

Otherwise, American Toyota and Larry H miller Toyota are what's in town and they are both owned by the same guy. May want to cruise the lots until you find a nice salesman. Beaver Toyota is up in Santa Fe. I know some people that swear by them.

Tacomas are a high desire item. May want to borrow someone's car so you don't look desparate showing up on the lot without one.

I have also heard good things about Beaver in Santa Fe. I may take the Railrunner up there tomorrow and look around. I don't have to buy anything, and could catch the train back if not...I made an initial contact with them the other day that seemed to have promising results. Their pricing seemed better than the LHM dealers in ABQ.

I posted this in case anyone had experienced someone in the ABQ area they could recommend...I'll just take my time and see what's out there.

IMHO go to the toyota on Eubank an central. I think they are all American toyota now. But I dealt with Brandon Robinson. Hands down the best and non pushy car salesman I have even had. My family including me have bought 6 vehicles from him since 2007 an I would no buy from anyone else. So if you want a good salesperson who will make things right he is the guy.

    Good luck

Beaver is a good place, i picked up my fj from them

but if your looking for the best deal i would check our CO & AZ Dealers if you know what your looking for you can pretty much handle the deal over the phone or online. Best time to buy is today since its the end of the month.

ive purchased a vehicle from Hatch Toyota before they even drove out and met me in gallup where i finished the deal ha they even bought my family dinner lol.

if you decide to purchase out of state you will need to get in the vin check at MVD and pay the state 3% sales tax which is pretty low compared to other states :)

I'd choose American Toyota off I-25 & Alameda. No haggle pricing with my cosco membership and top notch service department. Beaver was a joke when I tried to deal and Albuqureque Toyota on Eubank wouldn't deal. Good luck. Today is the day though, end of month.

What a long day. Topped it off by spending a couple hours with Cloudy and SgtTaco tuning CB antennas. Probably could spend a few days trying to get the numbers just right but we're all good now.

There's actually some really good wheeling in alamo/ around alamo. When are you gonna be there? Here is a pic from our last trip out.

Sorry but the Cinco de Baja race was cancelled last week due to the Fire Restrictions they claim!!?? Sucks since it was the only all out event here locally.

Sweet well if you're gonna be up there around august they have a toyota meet that's called thrill on the hill ill find the link for it and send it to ya. Its a 3 day wheeling event in the mountians around alamogordo. Registration hasn't opened yet for it. this year will be my first year going but a lot of the guys in our group down this way have done it a few times and say its a blast.

Sounds great, I should be free on the weekends all of the time unless I have to study for a test. And usually you get out of class at around 1:00 on the weekdays. Yeah, I'll be at Holloman the whole time.
