I measure the amount of mud on my truck by the number of quarters I spend to rinse it off. Last time I got muddy out at the Puerco, it cost me $12.

    I hate mud.

Just got back from Nick's (Bigfishallday). Got the skid plate mounts on my bumper remounted and fortified. And I do mean, FORTIFIED. Pictures to follow once I get some steak marinating and some bolts torqued.

Nick did some very nice work.

For now, painting the engine side black. Don't know what I'll be painting the ground facing side. Still thinking of just clear coating it. Going to get all scratched up anyways.

Prepping it tonight and possibly getting the first coat of primer on.

I decided that I might as well go all out so I'll be getting resies in the future.

From the little research I've done:

    1. If you have the money, no reason not to get resi's.

    2. Resi's in the rear are pretty close to a must for any off-roading.

    3. If you are more into crawling, going without in the front is just fine.

    4. If you want to go fast in the desert, resi's in the front are a must.

I'll probably get resi's when I go to custom front C/Os just because I can.

Exactly my thoughts as well. There will probably be very few times, if ever, that I will push the shocks far enough to need them. But, like many other things, I'd rather have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
