I'll take the lack of responses to mean that none of you are interested in going to the jamboree.

You bunch of puerco lovin' weenies!!!!

I'll be thinking about it... while I'm at work.

I considered emailing the guy to see if he'd part out the S/C and sell it to me separately. And those wheels are fugly.

Hello! Looks like you work on base too? I'm over at the Sandia side of things. You can tell mine out from the dent on the right side of the tailgate. haha

    Anyway, love that color!

I'd love to go but I have ANOTHER... DAMN... SINUS INFECTION. Seriously. This isn't fun. If the allergy shots don't work I have to get serious about moving to a wetter climate.

Hmmm, yeah... about those wheels... yeah. :p :D

Same in New York. I'm holding out for Oregon or Washington but the NE is on the list.

So I recently painted my camper shell with duplicolor so called "lunar metallic mist"... well it didn't turn out so well
    CF473FC7-0C11-4E04-B544-D41439DDEF2D_zps_7dea144f015078285ca464ff563d59e7d8fc60e0.jpg
I have a tin man sharpie metallic silver instead.

Do any of you guys know anywhere local that does custom spray paint mixes? Sherwin Williams only does a minimum of 6 cans for 15 bucks a pop, and I only need two or three. There is automotive touchup online which is 12 oz cans for $20 each so before I spend $50 on two cans and shipping thought I would ask if there was anywhere cheaper in town?

    Thanks!

Fn upper east coast area

NE would be sweet. brutal winters though... im not looking forward to winter here

I honestly think it doesnt look too bad for silver. if anything you could just go black?

Id call the local auto body shops.. I heard they can make cans for ya (buddy of mine awhile ago said its pretty simple)

It's just really metallic for my taste especially when thinking it would be a perfect match haha
I was thinking about going black! but then it would be hard to go back... because I probably wouldn't need much lunar mist now since I have the silver base coat.
    I shall call around then

Or just give it a couple weeks and I probably wont care anymore and hopefully the sun will fade it a little bit

Don't ever move to Massachussetts if you don't like taxes.

Winters in NJ aren't too bad. Upstate NY gets really bad because of the lake effect snow. One of the guys I work with was there when they had over 200 inches one winter.

well think of it this way... if you ever wanted to re sell it then black is the way to go... if you limit yoruself down to one specific color then you would find it hard to sell.. not saying you are but if you ever wanted to

200" ... f that.. Im nervous that my 2wd baby taco wont cut it here... time will tell

Seriously though...my prescription for you is GREEN CHILE and lots of it. As hot as you can find. Eat it slooooow so the heat has time to work it's way through your whole face. 3x daily for a week and then we'll do a follow up.

It's all good. My 2001 is already supercharged w/all the goodies, but I always keep my eyes peeled for a cheap S/C to put on my '97.

You were on 285's right? Going to some 315/70's?

I might have to work up on that slowly. Stomach doesn't appreciate spicy stuff.

Truck is going to look nice with the bigger rubber.

Might need my sinuses welded shut. Otherwise, I'm functioning enough to stay hydrated and fed. Will let you know if I get into trouble.

If I can get my LCA bushings done on Saturday, I'm looking to go exploring up north (Santa Fe NF area) next weekend. Probably talk to Scott about it on Saturday since I know he's itching to get out too. Welcome to post any places you want to explore if you have time to join in.

Yeah. Didn't go up that much. Doesn't really look like it. Went to 285 75 17's from 285 70 17's bout an inch different. Can't really tell. Just enough to rub on all kinds of crap again. Time to get out the cutter again.

    Just let me know buddy.
