came across an interesting article in the journal today, talked about 'yota finally taking up fault of the OEM leaf springs. the article (i just skimmed it) stated that the springs could break and puncture the gas tank causing a fire.... though it seems unlikely I'm glad i upgraded to the OME Dakars!

It's an '08 4x4 single cab. It'd make an awesome offroader so you, know, I'm hoping it'll out last my parents' need for it... ;)

I just put some led 3x3 pods. Also getting rims Thursday. Pretty excited about that. Now it'll look "complete" still much more I want to do. Plus I've seen some pretty sweet 1st and 2nd Gen tacoma around santa fe

Don't know. Now that the spring recall came out, my pops is waiting to get notice and have it all done at once.

I am hemorrhaging money. But not on my Taco, which depending on how you look at it is either bad or good. My Camry is at about 177k with all factory components still (except plugs and PCV valve), so I am now changing the drive axles, need to change the struts, blah blah. And my daughter's CRV is being driven into a money hole, and at about 177k there as well I am changing parts weekly. One day I will get all that done and can look to put some mods into my Taco. Good thing is, it is being perfectly reliable right now :)
