Tube frame with truck panels? I might turn my truck into a truggy whenever I get my dinosaur ford ranger running again so I can have a truck bed.

Anyone in ABQ have a 12+ Tacoma I can use to mock-up a light bar design on? I will give you one at cost if you decide you like it and want one for yourself. I won't need more than an hour...

So got in a few things today to help update my expo build. Hopefully going to plumb and wire everything up this weekend (my weekend Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed). And then just have to get the skid cut and mounted.

Water tank. Not entirely sure where to put the deck fill plate or orientation on the water tank, drivers side or pass side fill. Any suggestions???

On another note, we should all support local breweries. Currently I am drinking La Cumbre. I bought a 32 oz Growler of their seasonal brew LA LLorona stout brew which is rated at 8.8% and my oh my is it strong!

as many as you know growlers must be drank no less than 2 days after purchase and the LA LLORONA is one strong stout! La Cumbre also came out with two new beers which are the new Red Ryeot 16oz 4pack can and the new Tres Padres bomber which I believe is replacing the Project Dank bomber! we should all drink and support all of the local breweries in and around albuquerque! So far La Cumbre is my favorite local brewery!

Have you checked out Bosque Brewing? Head up to their location at Central and Girard and let me know what you think of the chairs......those are all mine. :D

But Local stuff is way better than mass produced stuff.

Ah no I havent! So that's the massive project you were working on awhile back! Definitely going to check that place out soon! La cumbre really knows their stuff when it comes to brewing the perfect beer! Although I don't mind the mass production beer I perfer to support local breweries. I try to visit local breweries when I go out of town as well!

need some advice fellow taco luvers,

im in the market for a taco yes again and need help deciding on options:

    • wait for 2016 taco
    • find a 2012 + taco with mods (lift / basics) save some $
    • find a great deal on a stock 2015 taco and build
    • go to lunch and ponder

    go to lunch and ponder.

I'd wait to see what issues pop up on the '16. It is a Toyota but all new drivetrain has me a little cautious.

Finding a mod'ed 2012 sounds a bit boring and you're not sure what you may be getting. Can be counterproductive too if you find something you like except a couple of mods that you'll want to back out.

Starting with a fresh '15 sounds more fun but don't know the depth of your wallet.

I'm waiting to hear if the '16 will be able to be S/Ced. Reading up on the Atkinson cycle leads me to believe this isn't possible or very tricky. Then again, I still am not sure if I'm understanding things correctly. I'm giving my 1st gen a couple more years then seriously looking. Unless the HP and torque numbers on the 3.5L are astounding, I may get a '15 just so I can blow it.

well here is what i miss [IMG]

i guess if i got a modded rid i would want one with a decent lift atleast (non-spacer)

the new 16's are so iffy not sure how it will all play out and the minor appearance upgrades ehh

owning a taco is a money pit either way once the modding starts it never stops haha
