You're probably right, but that might also work for you as well. Not everyone likes the offroad look, just as I dont like the looks of long travel.

Then there's always the sympathy votes as well. :p

Really though, you did great in making it to the semi finals. Not too bad going from 55 people down to being in the top 12. I know 43 others that wish they made it that far.

Anybody know of any places that rebuild coilovers here in Utah? I tried 4 wheel parts and jack-it, neither of those places do it. Also tried a few quad and four wheeler shops, but had no luck with those either. Anybody have any ideas on who might be able to help?

http://www.raceshock.com/ in AZ does it, but thats about the closest I could find. According to it didn't look to be too expensive and fairly quick.

At the time it started, I didn't have a camera so didn't have any pics of it, so no big deal. I'll enter the next one that happens, although I probably wont come near as close to winning as you did, it'll be fun to see.

I'd also have to wash and wax it, which I'm not so sure I could do that... ;) Either that, or get some great off road pics, but thats hard to do while driving.

I sent them an e-mail today to get an idea on how much it'd cost and how long it would take, still waiting to hear back from them. Thanks for the suggestion!

"1 more question for everyone who has a prerunner over there, how does it handle during the winter? I have been in the snow b4, I lived in Nebraska for a yr when i went to college and know how to drive in it, but i always had a 4x4. I still own one, but would like to keep the Taco as my primary vehicle and want to know if it can handle the winters well? Thanks."

I have a PreRunner, D-cab long bed and it does just fine. Just have your tires siped and throw about 300lbs in the back and you should do fine. Just dont romp around and you wont have any issues. I purchased a water resevoir that you fill up and weighs about 300 and freezes solid in winter, it worked great. Fits well too.

Maybe I'll wash it a little and start a build thread. Been meaning to for a while, but just been too lazy to take pics.

Millview Canyon is good fun, although it is very narrow in places, and put a lot of scratches in my brand new Taco! Beware!

    Hey guys!

I'm going to be heading up to Moab with one of my buddy's on Oct. 30th-31st (leave Sat. morning, come back Sun. night). My friend knows Moab very well and has been on pretty much every trail, very good spotter as well, so if you worried about getting lost or flipping your truck don't be.

We will probably be staying at Slick-Rock Campgrounds which has a $10 camp site fee.

If you would like to join us let me know.

How much notice do I need to give ya? I'd love to come, but only about 50% sure I can make it. I'll know for sure by the 16th. Would it be ok if a stock Jeep Rubicon tags along also, as I'd like to invite a friend as well. (He's a noob like me, but he made it up to Forest Lake just fine earlier today.)
