Just wondering if i'm the sole Taco enthusiast in the Cannon / Clovis / Portales area?

If you're out there, post up!

Hey man, I actually just moved out to Clovis in Feb and was curious of the same thing, I think I may have seen you driving around on base too, I like your bumper and do you have a lift?

Nice, I've been here since February 2012. Probably, i think I'm the only modded white taco on base. Lifted and running 33"s. Thanks man, pretty sure i saw your truck today...Washington plates?

Nice! And yes that would be me with the WA plates! How do you like Cannon? And where do you go to offroad? I just did last night in my back yard, lol a friend and I are renting a place with 5 acres, so it was mostly just super dusty donuts out in a pasture/field.

Cool. It takes some getting used to but there are far worse places in the world. Ive wheeled out at the dairy in between Portales and Cannon. Other than that i don't know much else. Ive heard Canadian River is cool but I've never been. Im planning a trip up to CO once i get my skids, going to hit Imogene pass and potentially Black Bear.

I have heard about the dairy but haven't been there yet, I also heard that there is an offroad park in Roswell, so that's not to far. When are you getting your skids? And I haven't heard of either of those but looked them up and it looks like some places I should know about, they look awesome! I would definitely be down to try it.

Thats good to know, and the BK was better than I expected. Did you do all the work on your truck yourself?

Ha yeah, I havent checked this thread in awhile and no I dont know the guy in the land cruiser but I know which cruiser you are talking about GreatPear.

I would totally be down for a meet or something, I heard on another NM thread there were going to go down to Big Bend sometime this spring???

Also, I traded in my gray taco for a 2015 white TRD OR manual... so... yeah I have to start all over again... whoops... lol

And well my plans are still just dreams right now lol! I would like to do an expedition type thing because there are a lot of place out there I want to see/hike/climb at or in... So yeah kinda similar to your set up... but I probably wont do anything till I get back from my deployment coming up.

By the way did you do most of it yourself? I didn't go to far on your build thread even though that would probably answer my question...
