it get crazy there, i was stationed there from 05-08 and i stayed clear of base that weekend LOL. but it is a nice show tho.

 

yeah it does, but i'm gonna deal w/ it. this is the first show in 3 years i think

plus the thunder birds put on a hell of a show, last air show back in 07 there was a raptor too, maybe it'll be back

 

how is the weather usually, i hear it get's overcast pretty bad.

 

it can be overcast, but by the afternoon it's usally mostly burned off and in the high 70's

weather is the reason they havent had the air show the last 2 years, too cloudy

 

I'll be there sun(sat be at hungry valley), but I'm gonna be using the access to surf one of Cali's best waves! And enjoy the show from the water too. Good shows there.

 

yea i have drill that weekend too but i think ill pass on it this coming month. LOL

 

yup, that why im going sunday too. and yeah, the surf at mugu is great

i havent hit it up for a long time

notes: no, the pic of the red bull helo isn't upside down... it was crazy to see a helicopter fly upside down and do barrel rolls, and the explosion was a demo by the navy EOD team... nobody crashed
