I'm doing alright I guess, another day above ground ya know....:D:D is a good thing !!

Yeah figured you were working 'cause you haven't been around as much as usual, same with Mike in Alpine...

I'm doing a remodel for my gal's parents, so its keeping me a little busy, I've done a couple mods, finally gave in & starting to mutilate my truck

But I need someone who really knows their shit about IFS 4x's & bottom line it for me in regards to what my options are for 3" -4" lift & what I can do about the fuggin' CV angles/boots , all the pussy parts that go batshit on you when you lift...

I'm starting to lean towards dumping ALL the IFS & go SAS, seriously....

Haha , Speaking of El Diablo, there he is !! wut up Mike ? I went to Sycuan the other day & took a quick detour out to Sloan Canyon & hit a couple of those classic walls they have out there, they are short but I swear, about 70% incline, I made them both but I blew out my inner CV boots , both sides, fucking grease ALL OVER HELL , on the shafts, LCA's UCA's, fender wheels, grease on my elbow, back of arm etc; Thats when I started thinking SAS & be done with all weak link shit IFS has always had....:mad: ;)

I go to sloan canyon all the time ha. Haul ass around all the berm tracks in that wash. I tried the walls but it looks like I wouldn't have the clearance to make it over the top.

That really sucks about your CV joints. If you need help with anything you got my number. I don't have any experience with that stuff but I would love to learn and an extra set of hands is always good right??

haha, yeah maaaaan , NAAAW, I mean we have to pull the front axles to replace the inner CV boots, but I wish I could just pull all that shit off & re install with the swap & make this truck I got now into a bigger more able version of my '83 SR5 4x, now THAT little truck could really trail...;);)

Thinking about going to Viejas in about 30 mins.

Yep that was sweet, :D:eek::D Real quick , true story,,, You know my girl works across the street from there, so I drop her off at work & before I split I go across the street to get a Vanilla mocha abba zabba , some kind of frozen coffee shit from Pete's out in front , I've got about $ 6 bucks on me & the drink cost $ 4.75, so I go inside & put that $1 into a .02 cent keno machine (they don't have them anymore, go figure ) & as God is my witness within about an hour or so, I was cashing out for about $ 1500.00 no shit...... sometimes you win........:D:D:D

Nice,,,Actually thats not a bad looking truck, but I'm 4x son & seeing how this was/is my first ( & last) IFS 4 wheeler , I've had it over a year now & can honestly say that as far as 4 wheeling goes the IFS isn't close to being better than a solid axle, if all or most of the trails you do consist of hauling ass down fire roads or in the Desert ,then LT all the way
