I don't have access to a garage so currently I am limited to the things I can do myself,

...things I need done include removal and re-installation of of my coilovers so they can be rebuilt, and a variety of bushings for suspension and assorted other bushings,

...but as much as anything I am simply looking for a good reliable honest Toyota truck mechanic, ...hopefully someone that has enough off-road experience to assist me in not only fixing things, but also knows enough about our trucks that he can make recommendations for things that should be fixed on a regular basis,

..until i get a place with a garage i am at the mercy of mechanics, ...and being someone who usually works on my vehicles myself i do not know of any Toyota truck mechanics

..any good recommendations would be greatly appreciated

James has built Race Trucks. He has a lot of off road experience. I believe he's been in races like the Baja 500.

No problem. For the guys that know me, they know that I only want the best for my truck. I am going to go there soon to get new tires and my sliders.

Not directly related to a mechanic per se, but I'm also looking to get a bumper/winch,

...and I have some issues with my FabTech coilovers, ..specifically, the lower mounting bushing has deteriorated and allowed the aluminum housing that holds the coilover to slide down a couple millimeters, ...enough so the bolt is now digging into the aluminum, ....kinda scary, and needs some TLC,

...so I am hoping that with the advice of an experienced and honest mechanic we can come up with a plan for my slim budget to fix what i can myself, and have the rest done by a professional when it is beyond my expertise or available tools, or lack of a garage

...of course websites such as this and DIY tutorials are invaluable for someone like me that hates to trust somebody else with my truck

    ...thanks again for the responses

...that is a kind and generous offer,

...I am currently living in Solana Beach,

...and although I regularly change my own oil (every 1Kto 3K miles depending on driving conditions) I just may take you up on that one,

...thanks, ..I will be in touch

I got some free oil changes for new customers. It's a card with a free oil change sticker. Gave it to me to meet ups.

Gabe yes he does. I believe it is like 90 dollars or so. Eddie got his done there.

He is a full on shop. He can fab up a bumper if you want. Make a full cage.

Here is a friend of mine who had his cage done there.
