just a question do u guys have race radios or cb's for this trip? reason being i have a race radio. if the majority have cb's, i was going to go get one..

 

I have a CB

 

James- If I go I was planning to use my race radio cause I effin hate my CB. Other than you I'm not sure who else has a race radio.

I have a cb with a mag mount that works decent. If someone wants to borrow it they can. I'm in Fontana.

What race radio you guys running? Icom? I need to get one. What model?

 

I just hope it doesn't rain that weekend cuz if it does I think they close the trail.

i have the icom chase package from pci. i think johnnie has the icom v8000.. his u can program channels mine u cant..

just wondering, but could you conceivably use an icom designed for use at airports? would that pick up the right frequencies? and i dont think i'll be able to make it. i have finals to study for and my dad needs the truck to haul some parts out to the airport
