I got some epic vids this weekend, still piecing the final thing together plus some music.

Anyhoo, I got mine (HD Motorsport) off Amazon for $242...grab a big ass memory card too, I got the Kingston 16GB ($33 of Amazon) since the battery life is approx 2.5 hrs which is the capacity of the 16GB card using 1080p resolution, according to one of the GoPro forums I was reading. http://goprouser.freeforums.org/post10146.html#p10146

I think I may wait to get one till they come out with their skeleton case, then you can mount in in the cab and plug in into your cigarette lighter for unlimited power

I have never seen the non HD gopro at work but I did own an action camera that I got from Costco for a good price. the video was ok but no where near as clean as you can get on HD. When you watch the video on your computer or TV its so clear its amazing. Ask anyone that has one.

Well it appears that not many are interrested at this point in time. I understand that the price isnt that far off from what you can find on the internet. Well, the place where you can get a pretty good deal in San Diego is Cycle Sector on Miramar Rd. Ask for Diego. Not sure what he can do without the group buy but he is really good and trying to get the best deal he can. For those are are in the area, stop by and see what he can do. Sorry the group buy didnt really work for everyone. Maybe next time or closer to Christmas.
