Yeah This was my first forum, also joined TTORA about the same time, TTORA used to be fantastic with knowledge for high end MODS, its always been a rough place of sorts but it was so infected with straight up assholes you couldn't even ask a legit question without getting flamed, but i still go to TTORA from time to time. Another one is Toyota tacoma forum .com or something like that its good not real active but good

But I have def found a home here on TW (obviously) I've made a few $$$$ off here & more importantly made some good friends with some really good people here locally & thru the entire site really, & it is addicting..

 

Speaking of that i just went to my first meet with my wife, she has. 2013 Tacoma all procomped out. Everyone was cool as hell my wife was talkin trucks and people were showin her things and helping her out, it was cool. Just sucks we missed out on the superstition trip.

Yeah broke my back on a 450 at sand damn (superstition) almost paralyzed they told me 3MM higher I would of been screwed. The worst part is I hate 450s I'm a 2 stroke guy well now just a Tacoma guy

Hey Alex ya made it !! & this is about as close to El Centro as we get , but we do the desert & theres still a couple good weekends left

 

& just noticed your 1st gen. 4x huge plus, if you like 4 wheeling in a more moutainous terrain your about 40 mins from Corral Canyon OHV

Good luck even finding a 1st gen in junk yard gary, I've seen a total of 3, although thats just the yards i cruise thru , sounds like the acuator but i've never had my panels off dont know the linkage

 

saw this beast today (and gave it a once over, dang those sliders tuck up tight), i have to see Anthony's truck before i leave, especially now that it has LT

My wife and I were very impressed with the local Tacoma owners here on TW... We have only been on 3 or 4 runs, but enjoyed the gang. Normally we are solo campers and four wheelers, but it was a pleasure to go out with others, too.

 

Well we are heading our for Easter it would be cool to see you guys and anyone else on TW heading out. My wife and I were surprised that even the trucks with big $$ dropped into them the owners were still cool as hell giving us tips and advice. This is really an awesome site full of cool people. It's funny that most trucks I see around sd the owners are on here and r pretty cool.

 

FUCK the IRS! since my wife is self employed every 3 mos were paying a shitload of money to em! For what? So my neighbor on social security disability can have enough money to get drunk?! Oh well. at least I beat my cellphone ticket in court. Haha!

 

I'm headed out to do the Mojave Trail this weekend with two other Tacomas if anyone else wants to tag along. We're leaving Friday night from Carlsbad and camping Fri and Sat night.
