Any interest in a bi-weekly truck meet? I've been toying with the idea of starting a bi-weekly meet. I use to host a meet in La Mess for VW's but my VW is long gone. Thinking of fiesta island as a possible location and hosting the meet on maybe a Thursday evening, about 7pm.

Shopping for new tires, San Marcos or nearby: 265/75-16 AT style for my 4x4, but low price. Toyo, Hankook, BFG, ??? Pathfinder (made by Kumho) is a cheapy at Discount Tire? Anyone know where I can get a good tire at a wholesale price?

My now 22,000 mile worn Dakota ATs are from Pep Boys, and one has a sidewall pin hole, and I don't want just one new tire at this point in their age. Pep Boys will pro-rate all 4, and said I could switch to Hankook Dynapro ATMs if I wanted to. That is still in the $500 range for all 4 out the door... and I was really underwhelmed with their service and wait time.

I was amazed on how many miles I got out of my Toyo Open Country Mt's almost 60K. I just switched to the AT2's hope they perform just as well and last as long. G/L on the search. I just paid (2 mths ago) $775 for all 4 at Express Tire. The M/T's were $1000 otd.
