    Thanks for the feedback guys.

Oddly enough my friend's brand new 2016 Tacoma has the same weird bump on his steering wheel.

The picture below is for reference and not mine, but the left side (red circle) is perfect whereas the right side is not; it is bunched/lumped up where they meet.

    I guess I feel better my friend's '16 isn't perfect either.

No prob. A good amount of guys in the sd meet thread do that trail so it won't be hard to get a few trucks out there with you.

So I went to Toyota Carlsbad for my 20k service and requested they disable the seat belt chime and said with my job I'm constantly in/out of the truck.... long story short they said it was for liability and then came back later in my appointment and said even if they wanted to they couldn't.

Was I being fed BS or has anyone else had success with getting it disabled on a 2015 Taco?

When I asked, they were willing to charge me to do it, but I wasn't up for paying them an hour of labor to effect a change that takes just a minute or two.

I found fellow TW'er @zeekevin and he hooked me up - he has the cable and the software to make it happen.

And even then you may not get one. I've done it 3 times. Never saw one. Pretty sure @tcBob secretly hates me
