i dont think i'll be doing any mods to it, we picked it up today and i rode it at our house (i need to find some trails to ride that the horse people don't complain if i'm on them) and it has alot of power compared to the 250, and it has a softer suspension for me,it also slides better. oh and please excuse the messy garage.

dang thats a lot of horsepower. on a side note. i wanna change the oil and filter on the suzuki, and its time to change the oil (no filter) on the honda. is standard motorcycle oil what i would use? i looked in the owners manuals and they dont have what type of oil listed. thanks

EDIT: i downloaded a different manual for the 250 and it said to use 10w-30 or 10w-40, us the same in the zuki?

if it has a wet clutch DO NOT use normal car oil. I use shell rotella from walmart in my vstar. It is less than 15 bucks for a gallon and is jaso ma approved (means its ok for wet clutches) In general stay away from anything that says it has "energy saving" properties.

Nice, congratulations! Your going to have a fun time on that, and if you think its fast, it isnt,....
Why you ask? Well, I can see you still have all your emissions and restrictive equipment still in place, you can add an easy 20% more power just by jetting (unless that year is FI?)and opening up the intake and exhaust..

I use Rotella 15-40 non-synthetic oil in wet clutch systems, it comes in gallon bottles, thats all I use in the trans side and or wet clutch crankcases. Best stuff out there! Dont be scared that its for Diesels...you want a non energy-conserving oil.

    Somebody knows whats up..

Sweet mod... but a bit steep at $579+tax, eh? If you want to lock anytime, then there is that mod already here on TW. I see it more of a quick locker without fussing for the electronic motor to engage. You guys already know I have A-TRAC and no longer need the locker, but have used it as a nifty extra traction device for testing purposes or when pulling James up the Diablo Dropoff, lol!.

And looks like I am going to have to upgrade the front diff to an ARB, my front diff bearing is toast and seems to be a common issue as the carrier is too sloppy. Only real bullet proof fix is an ARB air locker.
