Lockwood Valley/Frazier Park snow run

I am going to go 4x4 up in lockwood valley/Frazier park area tomorrow morning. anyone that wants to go let me know, we can meet at smokey bear exit then drive the extra 10miles or so up the 5 and up lockwood valley. they are expecting LOTS of snow (its already started) so make sure you have 4x4, food, warm clothes, chains (hopefully), tow straps

 

will be at smokey bear exit at 10:00am, leave smokey bear exit at 10:20..........anyone equipt is welcome! I will have my dog with me to jump through the snow. should be fun

 

dont forget the shovel.

although if i can't find anyone else to go with...i might have to tag along with a diff trail run. not enough trees out there for me to winch off if im by myself...could be bad.

just got home....was real nice up there. Snowing in frazier park...no snow in hungry valley/gorman yet.

There is about 3" snow on the ground once you get into the foothills around frazier park and its coming down good. Snow turned to sleet/heavy rain when I drove home on the 5 south.
