None here yet, some coming soon... but the BIG rain hits us at 1:00 am John Coleman says... then heavy all day Saturday and gone on Sunday!

Snow level tonight is at 5,000' then drops to 1,500' tomorrow (Saturday sometime... maybe afternoon or evening).

Sunday will be very cold but no more rain or snow.

I am also taking my son... he is an adult now, but we will still have fun in the snow! Pine Valley later this morning... if you know the way to some 4WD trails?

OK, signing off from Oceanside... hope to see more than one other 4WD Tacoma up there or wherever we go... If the trails are all closed, we may drive on down to Plaster City/ Superstition Mountain and four wheel in the sand?

I'm thinking about heading out to the Pine Valley exit also. I already have my quad loaded into my 4x4.

We turned around about 3 miles before the Pine Valley exit. The East bound lanes were moving along fairly well, but the West bound lanes coming back to SD were a dead stop for as far as we could see. I didn't want to get stuck in that shit on the way back. Oh well, will try again tomorrow morning.

We drove out to the Noble Canyon Trailhead...wasn't bad. Turned around on the 8 cause heading east was backed up and people where parked and getting of their cars in the middle of the road....so we took the back way thru Matt's neck of the woods.

you all missed out big time!!!! i thought it wouldve been better to turn around cause the traffic was crazy and i pulled a car out and the traffic going west was stopped but snow doesnt stick in socal. best snow run all year, and when we left at 2:00 all the snow was melted and the traffic was free-flowing. I'll post pics and vids in a bit. Thanks a lot david for coming out and James for trying.
