    Greeting Fellow 805's,

Just saying "Hello" to my fellow Taco drivers on the Central Coast. New Tacoma owner here bur learning so much from this site.

Anyone from SLO (or in the 805 in general) know of some good trails to explore? Your feedback appreciated.

    - Chris

The riverbed in Templeton is a fun place to go, or Pismo are the closest I know of...

    Thanks for the response.

Been to Pismo...I think of is more fun on a quad. Never heard of the river bed in Templeton. Is it just a flat dry riverbed or are there obstacles to navigate?

Nothing crazy but berms, bumps, bushes, trees, beaker dams, some twisty trails . There's stuff to play on and challenge your truck on some of the banks of the river. From Templeton get in the river and head south, there's more fun stuff towards and in Atascadero, than you'll hit beaver ponds and it gets tight. I'm told you can drive all the way to the grade, but the reeds were too tight past beaver dams for my paint...

We always have a good time on the river in Templeton

yea, I'm OK. The rear bumper and trailer hitch took the impact, but are bent down. Going to a local body shop today for an estimate. Doesn't "look" bad, but it's definitely bent.

Ouch hopefully easy enough of a fix and its just the mounts that are bent.

She's going to pay for everything so I should be OK.

of course, my check engine light turn on Thursday (Bank 1 catalytic converters according to my scanner). Cleared the code and drove to LA and it popped up again, so it's not a misread. Is anybody putting new headers or exhaust on soon and need to offload some OEM equipment? @JordanSmith127 up at @DTFtacoma? :spy:
