Hmm, I'm thinking about going out tomorrow morning & possibly going to work later OR leaving work early and surfing in the afternoon.
If I decide to go that route, I'll let you know where I'm headed....You can see the 9' Beatty in action :D

If worse comes to worse, I can take a 2 hour lunch maybe and go then.

Hey guys been awhile. I have a few for sale items that i forgot to post in here. If anyone is interested in anything shoot me a text. 805-304-9401
-I have (5 )285/75/16 hankook dynapro mt's on mickey thompson classics. 95% tread with some slicing in the tread from the fender(nothing that would effect the tire though). 4 tires are mounted on the mickeys and the spare which has maybe 100 miles on ot is on the factory spare wheel. I would take 650 for the 5 tires and wheels. Tires alone ran me 1200 new.
-I also have a set of 8" fox coilovers with dual rate hardware and tender springs for 400$ fresh oil and seals
    -Sdg 110 pit bike 400$
-The suspension seats that were in my runner 400 for the pair. Super plush seats with adjustable headrests. Side by side sells them for 800 a pop.
    - 3" padded proarmor harnesses( same ones the beebs has) 100 for the pair

Spotted Theo going to surf in IV today, how was it?

I went out to the channel islands yesterday, it was really hairy, some of the heaviest surf I have ever seen.

Poles was pretty small this morning compared to yesterday. Can't see the break from this shot but it was waist high+ at dawn.

I drove to the end of DP and parked with the intention of surfing Devereux on my lunch break from about 1:15 - 3:00(I took an extra long lunch just so I could ride) and when I got there, it was barley ride-able.
I ended up driving home for lunch feeling defeated.

So, after work around 5:30 I drove out to Campus/Poles and surfed for about an hour. It was ok out there but....nothing to write home about. Certainly an improvement from what I saw at Devereux though.

Nice! I've never surfed out at the Channel Islands before....always wanted to though. I do recall the last really big day we here around here before yesterday though.....Myself and a couple others went out at Naples. That was a little much for me...it was breaking pretty heavily. I have that memory and a day years back at Jalama where the surf picked up to pretty much double overhead faces when I was out at T's. I was on a 9'2" crappy longboard that was on it's way out and couldn't surf as well back then. haha

I surfed Mondos on Wednesday and C st Thrusday, was super fun. Saw a couple broken boards and a rescue. It seemed pretty big but I think the swell we got in January that broke a window at Moby Dicks and messed up Gaviota pier produced bigger surf from what i saw in the Ventura area. Couple shots I took:

I didnt have a tripod in the truck and was hand holding at 300mm so they didn't come out all that great.

What's everyone got planned for the long weekend. I'm heading out to Pismo for some camping and dirt biking.

How does a Prerunner with the lockers and off road package do in the sand? Going to air the AT's down to 18 psi and hopefully not get stuck heading to camp, lol.

I do just fine out there even fully loaded with camp gear and a motorcycle - I air down to 15 front and rear. Out in the dunes I just remember to park facing downhill:burnrubber:...and carry a strap :bananadance:

Good luck Pismo is going to be crazy busy. Would not be surprised if they sell out of camping passes
