taking the wrong line or hitting a jump too hard, regardless if tuned or if you have bypasses and bumps and all the other jazz, will fuck a truck up.

^^that looks pretty sick...I wonder how they got All Pro to widen the bumper to fit the glass like that. Kinda cool.

That's what I did with mine, but I had to special order it from Tyler.

I wish mine had less of a gap under the headlights like that one, but I like Tyler's work better than the All Pro bumpers.

Yes, or ditching it altogether and having the spare mounted prerunner style.

It's just way too bouncy back there.

True, but in that case I have bigger problems than my front bumper falling off.

Matt did you trying shimming it at all to close the gaps? I have 2 washers on the lowest mounting point that tilted the bumper back some to make the wings under the fenders sit even. If you add shims to your top bolts it will tilt the top of the bumper down some and close that gap.

Nope, but I'm going to do that when I install the winch. It SHOULD alleviate the gap a little, but Tyler did mention himself that there will be a bigger than normal gap because of the angle of the wings.

btw, I drove a 2nd gen Tacoma today with a customer who was complaining of hard bumpsteer after install his Engage gen 2 kit...it almost threw us into oncoming traffic and then into the curb. The UCA's came to a point in the middle of the arm and looked 100% symmetrical as if they didn't have a driver/passenger specific side....unlike the TC, Camburg, AP, or factory arms how it comes straight down the back section, then has an L shape from the uniball to the front heim. It tracked ALL OVER THE ROAD...and it was a full time job keeping it straight. Not only did it track, but every imperfection in the road sent it flying left and right.

We both had to stop and breathe after driving that thing, the owner claimed he bought it used advertised as an Engage kit, but the lowers didn't have the stamp, and the uppers looked NOTHING like their kits. Had King resis, 8x2.5, and 35" tires. It was also a 4 banger manual, but that doesn't seem relevant to me.

Sounds like the caster is way off because of the location where the spindle meets the UCA? Felt like the spindle was leaning forward because of the way the UCA was made. Either way, I'm going to have it inspected next week, I just hope the guy is alright until then.

To be honest, I didn't even check? I remember it didn't have fender flares, had black stereo and dash trim, also didn't have power locks, mirrors, or windows...so maybe? I don't remember if the fenders and bedsides had holes in them or not for the flares. No fiberglass.

Did engage ever make a 5 lug kit? The front coilovers had some sort of adapter because the top mount was an eye, not a hat like our 6 lugs.

Post pics next time u see it. Engage doesn't always throw on their logo. Sometimes its a decal.
