One of the worst things that I bought for my tacoma was a Smitybilt wench. My advise is to save up some more and do it right the first time and get a Warn

Wow thats the first bad thing i heard about them... interesting. Im sure you actually use yours quite a bit though and for much more intense applications. Mine is basically just for backup. I figured a brand new redesigned model thats waterproof and has synthetic line should be legit. But ill check out some Warn models as well. Any other decent brands worth checking out?

 

What's the best way to cut through the center console next to the cup holders on the second gen? I want to place the switches there for my lights?
