    Montclair pd has told me at a stop light to watch out and not get my cats or tail gate stolen...they've been getting allt of reports around the area

    Hi guys,
    Looking for opinions on Rattlesnake Canyon Trail up in Big Bear. Would you guys recommend it to a novice driver? My truck is stock (Xtra Cab, 4x4, TRD, V6) rolling on 265/75R16 all terrain tires. To give you an idea of my experience: I've been these far: Trabucco Canyon (2x), Main Divide Truck Trail and Gorman (2x) - includes the 4x4 Practice area.
    I know there are a few easy trails up there but I would like to try something a bit more tricky. I'm open to opinions/suggestions on other trails.

    Do you have a rear locker?

    I've done cleghorn, pilot rock those are rated medium. Cleghorn has bypasses from easy to difficult. If you have a rear locker you're good. Don't want to keep spinning your tires in some spots and damage your tires. Rattlesnake rated medium and so is pilot rock. Wasn't bad at all. Didn't hit my sliders on pilot rock.
