Just ordered a pair of Avid sliders with kickouts for my 2015 sport dclb. My truck is magnetic grey with flat black rims. I want to texture coat these sliders flat black. Anyone have any suggestions on line-x vs powdercoat and prices near the inland empire?

I once had do it yourself bed liner on my first set of sliders.. Ended up hating the texture because i rubbed my squanny little legs on the slider every time I got in or out. Would helped maybe if I owned a pair of pants.

so would you recommend a straight flat black over texture? I just sat in car and got out and can see how back of leg will rub on sliders. If so should i powdercoat or spraypaint?

Do regular spray paint then put some skateboard grip tape over the top where you might step

Depends on how you wheel and utilize your sliders. Moderate to heavy usage will tear the finish up powder coat or not...especially on the underside. Which will require to refinish to prevent rust.

Thanks everyone. I think ill use primer and flat black rustoleum. I plan to use them for steps and light off roading use.

I'm actually thinking he motored up the hill and got way light at the crest, couldn't make the right curve, and drove up that side, then flopped.

He was motoring the whole night with that supercharger.
