I recently cut out shit like that. I still have the occasional fast food but I mostly cook for myself, eat at the gfs, or go to an actual restaurant now. I love junk food like that, but I can't stand how I feel after.

yeah, once I hit my 30's, I started really noticing how crappy fast food made me feel. 3 weeks ago I started making myself special green smoothies to have each day before work and I've been feeling more energy throughout the day and finding myself needing less coffee. It's amazing what a difference adding a little healthy eating to my lifestyle has changed how I feel. If anyone wants the recipe for the smoothie I'll be happy to write it up.

 

I'm going for broke hahaha I started with the dietary changes, but I am actually changing a whole lot of things. I started doing crossfit at 6 am 3 days a week. Which is awesome, I am not much of a morning person, so this forces me to go to bed early and wake up early. I used to go to bed between 1 and 3 am everynight and be at work at 9 am the next morning. Now I'm usually in bed before 11:30. I also started either going to the skate park for a couple hours or go running a couple of miles after work. SOmetimes both. And now on days I don't have crossfit I'm hitting the beach to go surfing for a couple of hours before work I have woken up at 5:30 4 times this week Its nice finally doing shit I've wanted to do for so long.

 

that's awesome! I need to start adding some physical activity now that I feel like I've gotten my eating a little more under control. Trying to find something I won't immediately get bored of like everything else I've tried...but not trying to spend any money doing it. I think I just need to get out and walk more. I just hate it though because usually about half a mile from my house I start getting bored of walking and thinking of all the other things I could be doing.

I always wanted to get back into hockey, besides the money issue, is I don't have the time to dedicate to practices and games, as much fun as it would be.

...yeah yeah yeah. I'm full of excuses I know, but right now I've got a business venture I'm working on that requires my undivided attention...that takes precedence right now.

 

yeah, we have bikes...just need to ride them. ...ok lets stop talking about this. It's only serving as a reminder of how fuckin lazy I am.

well, as usual, Halloween takes center stage and everyone's always busy. So just going out for drinks and dinner with the few friends that were available.

But, on the bright side, I was able to buy some truck parts for Marty. Got some OME 887 coils on the way and will be buying some TC UCAs off a member local to me. so at least I got that going for me!

...now if only I could find my way out of the mall parking lots.
