I'll give it to you man. A tuned gsxr 750 will no way in hell keep up, lol.

All the time actually. What about you? Ortega not so much. Too much traffic, I do the idyllwild and palm desert side of the 74 more often. I love Palomar. I'm doing a ride Sunday up Idyllwild with the guys. Poor taco is going to sit.

Ya Oretga is pretty crowded. But ya Palomar is great. The S-22 or S-2(whichever goes down into borrego) is pretty sweat too. I've never done the other side of 74 tho. Hows that compared to Palomar?

74 is less technical than Palomar. The idyllwild side has some long Sweepers and this really cool high bank switch backs section. The road is more rough though but I like the different challenge it has to offer. I never rode out towards borrego.

There is something you aren't telling me like an r1 swap

I need to do that ride after it cools down. What roads is it that you take?

I take 79S to san filipe rd then take that to the s-22 and that take you right into borrego springs.

Very nice!! Where'd you pick the filter box cover? Adds just the right touch.

The lid came with the deal.
I was lurking on the B/S/T section and saw someone wanted to buy a stock intake and I asked what he had and if he would be interested in a trade and it all worked out in the end.

Damn man you lucked out big time. Looks good. How do the couplings fit? Like can you put it all the way to the stop on the throttle body and then still have plenty of room to fit it to the box? Mine seems a bit short and last time I took it off roading the couple tore open.
