Meet will be Friday at Saltys on white lane at 7pm, feel free to invite whoever and I'm sure after we eat we can roll to a bar or something.

 

Damn, I work friday. I don't go in till 9 maybe I can swing by for a bit before.

 

I am moving to Houston on Jan 3rd..

Relocation for work..and a promotion..

What's going on guys? Just got stationed at Edwards AFB from Utah. I'm always down for turning wrenches and/or drinking beer. I used to do some "minor" offroading until I separated a CV axle and almost put a rock through the transmission of a sweet truck I was still making payments on. I'll still go out for a run but I'm less...rambunctious these days without dumping more money into my only vehicle. On a side note, even though this state is in a massive drought, if anyone knows of some fishing spots that are still holding up let me know. I'll bring the whiskey.

How do you like living out where you do? The wife and I are on house hunting time right now.

 

We love Tehachapi. Like every town it has its goods and bads. If you want a WalMart dont come here. A lot of the places close early. No shortage of pizza and mexican. Weather is nice. Occassionally snows, rains. Living here depends on what you do on Edwards. The 90 mile round trip can get old for some and costly with gas. But there are van pools. Some active duty do live here though. Most live in California City, Rosamond, then Lancaster and Palmdale. Tehachapi is the quieter of all the towns but less to do.
