BAJA 1000 meet!! Nov. 17-19 lets go racing boys!

Hey are you Planning on camping out on the coast to watch them on the way back or just come back Friday? Also me and my gf are going alone Thursday afternoon any chance you guys are down to camp out Thursday night as well or are you still planning on just meeting out there in ojos?

Whatthepho? and I are going on Thursday - Sunday to Chase for Engage. Hope to see yall there!

 

I don't think we will camp, we will arrive to Ensenada on thursday night, maybe around 10, 11 pm. We will stay in the city, then head out to ojos negros RM40 (around that area) in the morning, around 5 or 6 AM. After we watch all the classes (at least most of them) we will come back to the city, get some food, gas, beeR if needed and head down south to RM 600. I doubt we will camp there, we will return to Ensenada the same night.

I don't mind camping, my gf either. I'll ask my buddy if he'd be down to camp by the coast. I'll post as soon as he gives me an answer.

 

Ok cool sounds good oskar like i said we are heading down to Ensenada Thursday like around 2 so I'm guessing we will head out to ojos before it gets dark.. I wanna try and find a spot at the last big jump if not then I will go in to the same spot where I ran into you guys last year... Look for my truck remember it has the socaltacomas banner on the windshield and three 9 inch lights up front now!

Cool, the plan stays as I said before. Have you considered the creek that was about 300ft from we were last year? It looked like a good spot.

 

I've been there it's actually pretty boring the cars slam on their brakes and cross the 1-2 foot creek really slow plus you get all the rowdy guys in that spot and with us taking girlfriends I would avoid it which isalso why i suggested going to the last of the main jumps at the entrance... The first couple jumps are the main ones and those get full of rowdy guys as well...

 

Absolutely man!! Theres a couple of pots with wash sand after that last ramp if i'm not mistaken, that could be a good spot as well. Either way we'll be there.

 

Ok cool I'll pm you my cell# and I'll be running both cb and race radio. Once we go to the coast side I'm not very familiar so I'll follow your lead

Now I'm wondering if we are gonna be able to make ti from RM40 to RM600, since we would have to get into the race track for about 30 miles.

 

Let's try and find a spot at ojos closer to the highway So we could get out of there faster..
