Looking for dealer recommendations in the SD area. I just walked away from a slimy experience at Poway Toyota. I want to avoid Frank due to the National City tax rate, so who had a good experience and where. Yelp seems to be hit and miss, and I don't want waste my time.

I have heard good things about the dealership in Escondido. I went through Toyota of Temecula Valley had great customer service plus they are 5 minutes from my house. :headbang::)

They've always treated me good, so no complaints from me. :)

I went to Kearny Mesa once, they seemed pretty good as well.

Oh yeah. Good advice. I went there once to look at the new Scion tC with my girlfriend, and they started calling us like twice a day. Creepy.

I was going to get a new truck from poway because they are the only ones with a 400,000 mile powertrain warranty. They ended up having a certified used for much less, with everything I wanted, so I got that, but I agree the salespeople suck. On a side note though, don't avoid a dealer because of the tax. The tax is figured out according to where you live, not where you buy.
