Anyone planning to make a trip to the Tierra Del Sol fest this year? It will be at Truckhaven again and is always a good time. I am going and just doing my own thing with a small group as we typically do. I am just curious if there will be any other Tacoma guys out there this year. I am new here and would like to meet some people and do some wheelin with guys in the same types of vehicles.

Tierra Del Sol is a jeep club that organizes it. It is a great time for everyone whether you register and do their runs or not. There is a cool vendor section, raffles, food and plenty of eye candy. Night time is always fun at the pit, there are some insane rigs out there and always some high quality carnage.

Damn that's a big event. The freakin' flyer was like 88 pages (even though most of it was advertisements). We'll be there some day with our Tacoma group. Have fun out there.

Ya, it's huge. Mostly Jeeps and hardcore rock crawlers but always a few Tacos running around. Truckhaven is a blast, it has a little of everything. Plenty of good trails and tons of places to do all the body damage you could ever dream of.

Matt (lembowski) and I headed over to check this out today. Nice to check out the crawling side of offroading and see some bad ass rigs. Saw a couple tacos out there too.

Made it there, made it back. Managed to get some good scribe lines from the Toyo's in all 4 wheel wells where I need to do additional trimming, great trip. these Tacoma never seize to amaze me. Managed to lead an early bronco and a Cherokee, both had to choose easier lines a time or two. I wish I was able to get some of the more extreme pics but was more focused on keeping the shiny side up at the time. here is a few shots for ya'all, enjoy

Few inclines, I wouldn't do several of there with open diffs.

For all of those that didn't go to this, you sure missed out. Some of the trails were tricky but it was a blast. Fireworks were awesome too. And they gave away so many prizes on Saturday night. I even came home winning the military raffle.
