    True facts

Dealing with money can make people nervous. People just wanna see exactly what the numbers are... an exact guestimate was made, down to the penny, and then the actual numbers came up a little bit short. Not claiming any wrong doing, just irresponsibility raises questions.

Screenshots of the PayPal account would be everyone's mind at ease, and then everything else could be handled in PM's

if I'm following the story right, it seems if the money from Fiesta Island was given at the same time as the paypal money 1042 + 285 = 1327 ... that's only 186 off from this magical 1513 total u guys are arguing over. and if you believe matt adding his 100 donation to the total before actually depositing it, then it's a mere 86 dollar miscalculation.

Matt, I understand about making an Estimation on a guess, but when it comes to moneys not yours it is your OBLIGATION to have the correct amount reported, if in fact, you did make 2x estimation, one here for 1513 and change, and again for 1385 and change then why did you not make it clear these were approximate amounts? Doing so would have saved all of us including you from all this drama.

On another note perhaps not being sure and inviting involved parties over and have a round table with your paypal account open so the topic of funds for said event are relevant and open?

I'm still foggy on what the true amount is and if there were other donations not listed, understand that with all this comes such doubt.

As for my end, I have recently spoke to Steve and have asked that my involvement be done at this point.

My whole intent was to rally the TW troops, mainly SoCal folks, and get a long time known Toyota offroader back on the trails. And this was with the utmost Highest intention of being done. Keep in mind at the point of posting and trying to make this work I had NEVER met anyone from the community until very recently.

I hope this gets resolved in every way and wish everyone good health and highest regards.

    I thank all who donated,
    Erik

No actually you did, I made this clear, I asked numerous times that we should check with Steve about this and make sure he was ok with it, your reply was I have tried many times to get the name and was never replied too. I would have never EVER entered into a possible legal issue without asking first.
I'm sorry to all on the new site, but this has gone far enough, its being locked. And please lock this too.

    OK, big deep breathe, exhale.........

Matt, I'm sorry you feel/are getting slapped around, there is no joy for me or anyone else in this. but c'mon dude !! if you take the time & go over the way you are posting numbers you gotta see how confusing it is to know where the hell we're at, I mean when you post up a grand total of $1500 & change & one of $1300 & change & I didnt add this or subtract that & at the end of the day I'm handed $1046.00 as the total out of the pay pal account. I mean what would you think ? :notsure:

Dude you were in charge of this & if I or anyone else had any issue as to your honesty you wouldn't have been overseeing this..
