here is our time sheet from Pit A up to the 3rd lap. Any truck with a number above 1450 were racing in their class. Engage (1478) took the lead on the 3rd lap. After the rear blew, 1455 took the lead. When it was fixed Engaged caught back up and had a 10min lead on 1455 within 40 miles and never looked back

    helluva weekend.

Friday: My caravan of guys got to Main Pit and headed out to prerun our way to Pit A where we would be the whole next day.

We got a Pit A pretty quickly and safely, nothing big happened. Halfway there we passed two trucks coming the opposite way and they started following us. When we got to Pit A area the other two trucks told us they were lost so they wanted to follow us back to main pit. On the way back to main pit I hit a gnarly ditch and it dislodged my battery, knocking my drivers side bulb out of the headlight, but no other damage. One of the two trucks got stuck and Anthony250 got stuck. Took us about an hour to get them out of the sandy area and we got back to main pit at around 3am

Saturday: Race day. the truck ran flawless first 3 laps. We started out 3rd place on the first lap, made it to 2nd by the second lap, and we were in first place by the 3rd lap. When the race truck passed us on MM27 on the 4th lap, we noticed their PS bypass reservoir was hanging off and being bashed around. Pit B flagged them down and fixed that. Then by MM35 race truck blew a diff. Pit B got to them and started taking the blow diff out. Anthony250, Acordova and I met up with James and brought the new diff to them (MM35 and Main pits where the new diff was were on complete opposite ends of the race course). We changed the diff, topped off all the fluids, and sent the truck on its way less than 1 hr after breaking.

While the race truck was down, the 2nd place race truck broke a spindle and got buried literally 100 feet behind our race truck and were out of the race. 3rd place race truck passed us 15 minutes before we got back up and running. That was lap 4.

Lap 5: The now first place race truck (1455) passes our Pit A MM27 before our race truck does, but 1455 stops and goes into pits. Engine off, pit crew doing work. Engage race truck is 4 minutes behind, and comes into our pit area full speed. We wave them past and the 1455 pit crew sees our truck come flying through so they send their truck off. the 1455 truck gets on the track literally a few feet ahead of us and a tight battle unfolds right before our eyes. It was awesome.

By Pit B of that lap (MM34), our race truck was already more than 5 minutes ahead of 1455. We are back in 1st!

Same lap our race truck gets stuck on MM53. Pit D pulls them out. Lap 6 is flawless and Hassim brings it in for the win! We celebrate hard that night!

Diff is changed, fluids topped off, doing final inspection before getting the race truck back on the course after breaking at MM35:

I just want to say thank you to everyone in our pits and for all the support on the course.
This is a huge team effort and we could not have gotten first place without all of your help.
This race was an example of a perfect chase support team.
This shows how critical chase is to a race team.
Thank you Vi, James, Josh, Passim, Brandon, Johnny for keeping the truck on all fours and keeping our race pace.
Thanks to all support out there.
Was an amazing race and by lap 4 the course was really jacked up and a mess.
    THANK YOU ALL
