Hiatt, are you driving down from Green Valley Lake to do the run?

EDIT: Scratch that, just checked the cabin trip thread... In for this run!! This the same way we went a few weeks back?

P.S. 2WD friendly run, I'm assuming? It turns out I've known a member on here for a while, but didn't know she was on here! I'm gonna see if she wants to bring her 2nd Gen out for the run...

Nahh different way up the mountain...Dana 60 front and rear lockers, sliders, at least 40" clearance and 39"s needed.

JK. This trail is Corolla friendly. We're coming up the trail from Ortega Highway and ending where we normally start in Silverado Canyon.

You need a tow strap! Get one off Amazon for like $30. Ratchet straps also useful. If no comm. Run between trucks with comms.

    Bring water and snacks too

BTW: For future reference, if anybody wants to hit up Main Divide but is unsure about the weather/conditions up there, this link is very helpful!

    http://airsites2000.com/

Just click "Weather Stations" at the bottom, click on "Santiago Peak", and then you have all the current data. You can also click on "Webcams" to see for yourself.

Yup that's where I was thinking, but more towards the South side of the peak where it's open. We parked like 20 trucks there last time.

Bring it if you'd like, I have a Bestop so I'll have shade.

Yea, it was the loud awful blowing sound from the engine, the bearings get jacked up.
There are ways to try to prevent that but can't remember where I saw it.
Now I just go around deep water holes or go through slow if I can't go around.

At least 1 or 2 in a group is sufficient IMO, cuz you never know.
We've only had to use it once since I've been wheeling but not on a taco

Unless people request I bring it, I'll leave it at home.
I really wanna get the bestop so I can put my pups in the back without worrying about them being retarded and jumping out.
But that's after I get my Mid travel from Downsouth Motorsports

Yeah that's what I figured. Did yours go right away, or did it take some time? Sorry for asking so many questions I just want to be prepared to fix mine if it happens.
