Any chance the gate is open into Bowden canyon?

 

Hmm not sure , the gate up to San Ysabel was shut but not locked (????) I was going to hit the off shoot to Black Canyon truck trail but it was getting late, i didn't go across the road to Lusardi TT.

 

Don't know Gabe, its just my opinion that Glamis ('tho fun as hell) is more suited to sand rails/buggies/quads/bikes with paddles. Pretty deep sand & steep

Running the sand highway and in and out to Oldsmobile are cool. Highway all the way to Patton valley would be great. Getting into the real dunes is not gonna happen much. Guys with 2wd are really going to put on a shit show, wish i could see it. Everyone can still have a great time in a truck, just a bit limited and always parking downhill.

 

A good "glamis" spot for trucks would be mammoth wash on the north west side, you have dunes and access to tons of washes and trails. Bradshaw trail, peg leg mine etc.

Going to glamis next weekend. Slap the paddles on and I'll see what shes got.
