    thinking about johnson valley next weekend. (24,25 fri/sat) never been but i know cbassd has and knows the area. maybe do a night run on friday, camp out, off road sat morning and head home from there. recommend ham radio (can get a handheld on Amazon for $30 baofeng uv-5re plus), LED bar, some recovery gear etc.

    I might be able to meet out there. I'm only about 30 minutes away. What kind of 4wheelin' you looking to do out there? Going to try to conquer the Hammers? I only ask cuz i'm setup for camping and mild wheeling so i can't do anything too crazy out there.

    Is Azusa still open? I haven't been in Years! I used to head down there with my 74 Blazer... all painted Black and Silver with a Raider Logo on the hood and tailgate... (it came that way when i bought it.......) still have the beast. But I Live in Hesperia Now and its not the greatest truck for the desert..... So its been parked for a while. Azusa is just too far to drive that gas guzzler. Are "PTO" Dave and Randy still around out there?
