Exclamation Radios, GPS?

anybody selling their CB's or Race Radios? and also GPS (Lowrance preferred) i've gone 3 races without a GPS and decent radio and im looking to finally upgrade. any recommendations lemme know please.

Buy a Kenwood 281 from Ham Radio Outlet in Kearny Mesa and have someone modify it for you to make it wide band. Most people hold onto their race radios because they're so useful.

I hope you won't be the type to talk during races and abuse the channels, unless you are licensed.

Ya, definitely get a race radio. Most guys use the Icom V8000 and modify it.

If you want an inexpensive Lowrance, I suggest the XOG. They stopped making them but you can still find them. They go for around $200. It's a great crossover GPS. It's not user friendly but once you figure it out, it's easy. Another good GPS is the Garmin Nuvi 500.
