    EDIT:

    THIS SATURDAY 3/30, WHO'S DOWN?!?!?!

    Let's say...

    John's Place Restaurant
    8400 E. Chapman Ave
    Orange, CA

    10:00am

    See you guys there! :D

    Yo guys,

So it's been a while since the last time we did a big TW trail run up in the Santa Ana mountains. Last time we had a HUGE turnout of about 22 trucks, and it was a great time.

I'd like to coordinate another one for the coming weeks. As of right now, most of the trails are closed due to the recent rain/snow we got, but I'm confident they will be open by next weekend. If you've never been, trails up there are basically fire roads with occasional technical bypasses if you're so inclined (pun?). Otherwise, Prerunner friendly and stock trucks on street tires will be fine up there. We could meet up somewhere and caravan to the trailhead, drive up, perhaps have lunch at the peak, and then come back down. Just make a half day out of it.

I'm trying to get a feel for who would be down for something like this, so we can set a date and get this going!

Sick! Let's get a good amount saying they're in, and pick a weekend coming up.

So far, weather says rain NEXT weekend, but we all know how accurate that shit is

Would have to be next weekend, or this Monday (President's Day). Need to give them time to clear the trail and open the gates.

Where would you want to do the meet up before going up the trail?

Great idea BTW I need to get the taco dirty again.

Probably at the Tustin Marketplace. Easy place to meet off the 5 freeway and Jamboree. Then cruise up to the trailhead, Taco caravan style.

LOL I still wanna say you're fine...there are, however, A LOT of softball sized rocks you gotta drive over. Bald tires might lead to a flat if you run over a sharp one.

No chance of getting stuck though...and if you do, I'm a 4x4 with a 30ft snatch strap :)
