    So i called the forest service and they say the trail open's May 1 or the first week of may. IF the Trail is open Lets plan this trip May 17 thru 18th if we are camping. If we are doing a day trip then it will be 18th. This is only if the trail is open on may 1st, it all depends when they open it.
