indeed, I hear there is a guy on TW that makes modified Overhead consoles for switches that can be adapted for comms radio face plates.

Hey Tyler, I drove through there yesterday and no smoke. You could see a burn mark on the left when heading south on the 5. I think you will be fine.

Hungry Valley is still closed as of now, hope it opens up. Guess I need to get my rear shock hoops mounted, its pretty bouncy right now without shocks.

Just a 2.0 and a 2.0 hydro bump. Won't know if a 2.5" will fit til everything is finished. I went 2.0 to be safe and its plenty of shock. Also depends on tire width, wheel offset, you know, all the variable bs. I doubt that a shock with bypass tubes will have enough room but we will see soon.

Just called (661-245-3731), and they aren't open yet nor do they know when. ALTHOUGH, if Hungry Valley DOES open tomorrow then that's an excellent sign, the ranger said.

Thought this "incident" website was interesting, too: http://inciweb.org/state/5/

Click on Grand Fire and it talks details as to what the fire is doing.

you can always order the bypass tubes orientated to your specs. pricey, but an option.

Well, its really going to be down to the wire for me. On second hoop setup for today and its looks to be the final configuration. First one was too far out and did not play well with tires. Fine tuning locations to travel numbers fall into place. I am going to bump just a touch early, seems like a lot of setups allow too much neg arch. It it definitely a tight fit on there. Literally changing hoop to frame angles by a couple degrees changes a lot.
Got to replace a hard brake line and redo all brake fluid, its draining now. Grinders and brake lines don't mix, shit happens.
Once hoops are set, which should be tomorrow then onto building bump can mounts, hopefully Thursday. If all goes well Friday morning will be a go. Things are going to have to go damn near perfect from here on out though.
