what a fun weekend it was out here at the races over the weekend! big thanks to Blackhawke88, Acordova1050, Anthony250, and Redgrom who helped us man Remote Pit A, which was at MM27, and kept us company. Redgrom where did you go? hope the coyotes didn't get you .

Remote Pit A saw no action except for when DesertGuy broke his steering at around MM22. Blackhawke88, Arcordova1050, and Anthony250 booked it over to him as chase vehicles to help him out. unfortunately it was a repair that needed a welder to fix. with some ingenuity and a tie strap from those guys they were able to tow him back to the pit where some of the Engage crew and Sick Nick Fab performed an amazing job to repair the steering to get DesertGuy back in the race. Great job and team work from everyone unfortunately i was not able to get any pictures.

the team we pitted for placed second overall for the race finishing only 1 minute and 5 seconds behind the first place guy. those 2 cars were averaging 50 minutes for 57.6 mile course

and finally here are the pictures..

at the gas station for almost an hour mixing pump gas with the race fuel..1,350 bucks later ready to go:

Tom and jazzmine,
sorry I missed you guys out there. I visited pit B and D. I had a gret time in the Mian pit especially at the bon-fire/winnie roast.

Fun weekend for sure! Had a good time riding around the course and snapping a few photos. And no monkey I was able to avoid the coyotes but did end up on the other side of the course till sunset. Since the wind came up and I had to shoot a wedding yesterday afternoon I just decided to head home and sleep in my own bed. (Easy decision since launched the cooler with my beverages)
Thanks again and can't wait till the next race!

Man what a race!!! Started off the line in the 8th spot. After the first lap I passed 8 trucks and was sitting in first place starting lap 2. Gained a 15 minute lead 25 miles into the 2nd lap and my centerlink snapped in half and we almost flipped the truck. (steering going out at 60 MPH+ is not fun)

***Huge props to Blackhawke88, Arcordova1050, and Anthony250. They were there in 15 minutes to help me out. Towed me to the pits and got me a welder.
Just in time my boy Sick Nick showed up to do some welding. We welded a grade 8 bolt and wrench to my sheered centerlink and drove another 150 miles to finish 6th. Thanks all you T.W. guys who helped out (there were many out there who I owe thanks to)
Ill get pics of the pro welding job also..lol
