If you stay on on Bea canyon all the way up to Pine cove it's 2wd friendly. Don't know about the other roads though.

Bea's Canyon

Yesterday I went out for my first time off-roading, went up Bea's canyon. Was marked as an easy trail. For a newbee it seemed intimidating. Found out 2 things 1st need better tires 2nd need to take the work chemicals out of the bed.

I remember that first time hitting trails. I went sliding down a hill that you need 4x4 just to get up it. Just air out those tires some to about 25psi. Your tires look pretty rock hard in the photo.

Isn't there a dirt parking area by the entrance? Maybe we could meet up there?

Yeah... the dirt parking area at the entrance. LOL!

So, to be clear, we're going to ride up bee canyon to Idyllwild and then back down the 243? Not quite sure where Pine Cove is... nevermind, just looked it up, next to Idyllwild.

I might take a different trail just to change it up a bit from the last run we did, but we will end up roughly were we started.

You are 4x4. You are more trail capable than all of us going. You can pull us out of ditches if we get stuck. I have a brand new 30ft recovery strap that I'm itching to try out. JK it is going to be 2wd stock truck friendly. Most of the trails are fire roads. It is going to be a pretty fun run.
