2013 Tacomas needed for exhaust R&D

Gibson exhaust in Corona needs 2013 Tacomas (DCLB, X-cab and 4 cyl)
for R&D of their exhaust systems.

If interested, please contact Mike @ Gibson exhaust.

I have no stake in this other than trying to get an updated exhaust for my 2013 DCLB, which they have not had time to R&D yet.

Toyota, for whatever reason, changed / moved the rear hanger assembly on the 2013.

Wow, i'm surprised that i remember my log in info from 5 years ago!

This is Mike from Gibson Exhaust.

We are currently looking for all 4cyl models of 2013 Tacomas as well as a DoubleCab Long bed prerunner/4wd for test fitting.

We had a Doublecab Short bed in already and Toyota decided to turn the rear-most hanger 90°. The rest of the exhaust system is exactly the same. We assume that the DBLB is going to be the same, but we need to have one in the shop for test fitting before we can sell a kit for the 2013 Tacoma.

Are you guys offering any sort of kickback for someone bringing their truck in? might motivate a local who is on the fence.

 

compensation for allowing us to use the truck for test fitting would be a free exhaust system including installation.

We have had great response to this posting. However, we are still looking for a double cab, long bed 2013. We also might want to bring in an access cab Tacoma if someone has one that we can use for a couple days.

We will also need all 2014 models once people start getting them.

Just throwing this out there in case anyone has a friend looking at a new Tundra. We will need all styles of 2014 Tundra once they are released.

 

I have a 2013 DCLB TRD Sport. Only free on the weekends though.

 

Unfortunately, Gibson needs the truck through the week as we are only open Mon-Fri.

If anything changes, let me know, and i will see what i can do to get your truck in.

 

Are you guys just looking for 4cyl? or v6 too?
