Epic Night Run indeed! Good people in good trucks... only a couple of incidents, but nothing we couldn't handle in the dark!

2 am was 93ºF, but it was a dry heat.

We got to sleep by 4 am and up by 7 am... That's all you need!

Here are the photos I took, some are blurry, 3 taken with my phone, the bighorn sheep was right off Hwy. 78 at the Narrows, where we took a leak break... Pretty cool, eh?

Thank you for organizing the trip... even with the 4 runs on the Pole Line Road and pulling the GMC out of the same sand, twice!

    Viva Baja in the USA!

That's the ticket to coming home in one piece... 4WD and stock suspension... but I had to keep it under 100 while off roading! :D

Thank you everyone, we had fun... 06HAOLE will get his truck running soon, I am sure... He and his amigo Nick were great co-drivers and are welcome in my Tacoma anytime!

Well, I actually TRIED to not cover it with mud (noticed how I hung back last night?)!

I JUST NOW got home from the...

    1) Do-it-yourself car wash... dropped maybe $15 in quarters and under the truck to try and get as much mud as possible off of it... really wore me out (of course I only got 2 1/2 hour of sleep this morning)!!! After which I drove it to...

    2) Full service car wash, $21 'Gold' Wash.

Looking forward to seeing all the photos the others took out there... What a fun night in the desert!

Thanks for letting me and Nick go on the run with you David. It was a blast and I can't wait to go back.

Gabe your truck is sick and that was a minor shakedown issue. I was just glad to lend a hand.

My bump stop got wedged underneath the strike pad on my first LT shakedown with the old truck. The whole side of my truck was down until I cut the strike pad in half. All because I didn't understand that I needed to cycle the leaf pack. That was a shitty day. Lol

It was great to meet everybody else as well. Thanks to Matt for putting it together!!
