Here is the campsite with more specific directions: Here's the coordinates to where we are camped at 33.16154, -116.09277. When coming down the 78 you'll pass main st. Keep going past that for 4 miles and tere will be a big white billboard that says desert ironwoods resort an then a call box on your left hand side, imperial county line county sign is on the right hand side. Turn left onto county line rd and go down about 2.2 miles and were on the left side about a 1/4 mile past the fork. At the fork keep right. And then on the left side just after the little shrubs stop growing there will be a cone and caution tape around 2 sticks in the ground. Turn left there and head straight towards the hills for 200 feet.

I'm just doing a day run. It suppose to be pretty decently windy and my tent won't survive

I might stay tomorrow night if it's not going to be windy. If it is super windy then I will cruise around until about 3am and then head home.

...If my test run goes well tonight.

Never mind, don't think I'll be going unless seafoam solves the problem.

Had an amazing time with the group. Not one break down and a lot of desert miles driven. & the truck handled pretty damn well.

    Thanks again everyone

Heading back from fonts point in anza Borrego to Ocotillo, one of the less experienced Frontiers with stock suspension didn't see the rather dramatic dip. He was hauling who knows how fast and BANG went air born while the side impact airbags deployed. Apparently this a known issue with Nissan, but very unfortunate for the driver.
