I bought a set from another member already setup and was looking for some expertise so I don't make any big time mistakes or can learn from someone's experience. Not sure how the wiring goes. Any tips

I got everything from TRS so it may be different.

You already have the harness correct (H4)?

Basically you have to find room for the ballasts on both sides. They usually have mounting screws and nut with it and you would use existing holes in the side wall inside your engine bay. Have enough room so that the ballasts can reach the rear of the headlight so it can be plugged in. NOTE: The ballasts wires have to be facing DOWN.

Next, youre going to want to find room for the orange harness box (forget what its called... but its connected to the harness and needs to also be mounted on the side wall of engine bay)

Once you have that all mounted up you are going to want to lay out all the wiring. I used the existing headlight wiring and followed that and zip tied the cables to the existing wires. Each side requires a ground. MAKE SURE YOU FIND A GOOD GROUND. Without a good ground your headlights may not work. Also, there is a positive cable that needs to be attached to the battery (self explanatory).

Connect the High/Low cables to the ballasts. Make sure your hear the click.

Next your going to want to use the existing H4 plug from your battery side headlight. Thats where you plug the H4 plug from the harness into.

Then, put the connector for the bulb on and you should be able to turn it on.

If you want pictures i can get that for you tomorrow. Just ask.

Also, this is how i remember it. If anybody has any other input please feel free to say so and i will edit my post.

The wiring for the HIDs is really strait forward. I had trouble wiring in the LED halos. Ended up taking it to a lighting shop.

Keep in mind this is a first gen so things may not be exactly the same... Pictures came out alright. Excuse the wiring, still need to zip tie that all up and make it look good.

This is the driver side, the ballast and harness orange box was mounted on the side wall here with the provided screws.

The ground wire ran to here.. Also on the sidewall.

    Ballast for the passenger side.

Where i ran the wire to connect to the passenger side. Used zip ties to keep it in place and followed the existing line.

Connection for the harness. Driver side. Again please forgive the wiring, still need to fix.

Lastly a picture of the ground wire.

If you need anymore help or if you got halos i can help with that, just PM me or post a reply.

Headlights came in today and I think I need to open them up and clean them up a bit. There are some streaks and smudges inside of the clear lense. Is there anyone on here wanna make a quick hundred cleaning them up?
