Beginner Trails in SoCal

Hi guys. Im pretty new to the forum and new to offroading. Never done any before. I have stock 2003 SR5 4x4 double cab. No E locker. Was wondering where there are some local trails to Orange County that I can try out. I dont mind driving bout 1-2 hours. I have a buddy who just bought a jeep and is new to offroading also that will be joining me.

 

IF you head up the 15 on cajon pass you have Cleghorn, Lytle creek and Pilot rock.

pilot rock might be too hard for a first timer. THere is also silverado canyon in orange county off the 55 at champan. super mellow but fun little fire road.

 

there is beginner trail to the right of it.

No one mentioned Hungry Valley SVRA which has a lot of stuff accessible to a stock 4x4.

 

sorry moose man. But hungry valley is really better if you have quad or dirt bike.

you got plenty of time.... I'm suppose to be prepping for the grand canyon this weekend but I will gladly procrastinate to go off roading vroom vroom
