Mojave Trail 11/7-11/9

Yeah it was pretty long but not too bad. I do watch that sometimes. I never saw that episode though. There's so many trails that run off of the main trail. You can have a ton of fun out there in the desert!!

 

It was a thumbs up ride!

 

A few random pics from the Mojave Road ride with Shmellmopwho and our Jeep buddy.
A great trail, not very difficult and just a few short hours from home. We lucked out with perfect weather, not too warm in the day and not too cold at night for comfy camping. There will be a Spring 2015 trip for sure, especially if the Mojave gets some decent rain this Winter!

spring will be the perfect time for the mojave trail.. You can always head in to death valley Jan/Feb if you want to do some more desert exploring... You could go check out the water fall in Panamint Springs...

 

^^ I'm thinking about a Saline Valley-Eureka Dunes and Lippencott Mine Road trip this Winter; if the weather cooperates, I don't want to mess with the snow in the high pass sections.

Sweet man! That's what Lee (Surfnmoto2) was telling me! That Death Valley is an awesome place! Definitely will have to check it out!!

 

My last visit to Death valley was spent around the southern portion but for my next i would like to go further North. I was thinking about taking Saline Valley rd to Lippincot, then North to the racetrack and then all the way up to the crater or even scotty's castle.... and then hit the highway north to start at the northern part of the steele pass trail heading south from there...

 

Awesome! Maybe we'll all have to cruise up together.
