I have basically a stock prerunner with the exception of the rims and I have Cooper Discoverer ATP tires, but I was looking for easy enough trails to hit-up in the LA/OC/Ventura Counties general area. I know I should get a lift by I am still in high school and if I lift my truck my parents won't pay for the gas. Any suggestions would be great, and if you could be precise and give locations of where I can access these trails that would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't seem nobody responded, here is my take on my limited experience on off-roading on a CRV. You should be good to go at Gormon up on the 5frwy. Just stay off the difficult trails. When you check in on the gate they will give you a map. Both times I'be been there it was 5 dollrs to enter. Kids have fun and the wife complains why there is no cell phone signal. I call it the mini adventure in L.A.......

Thanks for the reply is it trails there, or more like just a mud area?
