Looking for a shop that sells/installs rock sliders for a 2015 double cab.

You guys know of any good shops around San Diego, or if I'd be better off buying online and welding them on myself?

I went to the Truck Shop on Miramar after work Friday, but they wanted $500 and didn't seem even remotely interested in my business after reading some good things about them here (so fuck those guys), but can't seem to find any other mentions of good shops to go to.

Only place worth talking to is Pelfreybilt, they are local in Poway, amazing customer service, and best product out there.

    agree with this guy! www.pelfreybilt.com

Thanks. Adding to my short list.

For $465 (not including taxes), I'd expect them to be installed and painted though. The joys of a specialized market...

Yeah that's a pretty standard price from what I have seen. Definitely has saved the body of my truck on multiple occasions. I beat mine to hell, they just sand and re-spray them.

500 dollars is drop in the bucket when it comes to body damage.

So help convince me that the DOM sliders sold by Trail Gear on Amazon for $220 are $300 inferior to these. I'd really like to put some on, but I'm having a hell of a time justifying paying $500 for $50 worth of steel.

EDIT: And $120 worth of labor. I'm liking the Pelfrybuilt site a lot though. My 300 winmag build just got put on indefinite hold.

I'll let their customer service before and after purchase speak for itself. I'd go small local business, with made local products any day over Amazon or a big name. Just how I am, either you want to get a good quality product you know will last and you wont replace later, or you cut corners and spend the money again in the future.

You get what you pay for. Pelfreybilt is super solid with outstanding customer service. Tyler is a great guy to work with. Plus you can pick up local and save on shipping. You might pay a little more but like others have said that small price is worth it with the reliable and proven product.

    Thanks guys.
